“有酒盈樽”非“滿杯”

《歸去來辭》一文中，有“有酒盈樽”之句。林語堂這一句最初的譯文，曾受人彈，終于改正了。

林語堂最初是把“有酒盈樽”譯作“On the table there stands a full cup of wine”。

《歸去來辭》中的”樽“字，究竟是不是“杯”（cup）呢？

英人 Giles 就把這一句譯作“Wine is brought in full bottles”。

陶淵明好酒，量雖不如李太白，但在其詩文中，有“酒”之句，卻多于李白。

《歸去來辭》中“有酒盈樽”的“樽”字，應(yīng)否解釋為“杯”呢？

張其春就頗有微詞了，他說林語堂將“盈樽”譯為“a full cup of wine”，“究欠妥帖”，“后經(jīng)林博士自行改正”，改正為“On the table there stands a pot full of wine”。

而緊接“有酒盈樽”的一句“引壺觴以自酌”，林語堂也把初譯的“Holding the pot and cup I give myself a drink”，改為“Holding the pot I give myself a drink”，以呼應(yīng)前文。
